Eating ice-cream is a good thing in Hong Kong during summer!! I somehow ended up walking by I Cremeria and decided to try it. This shop sells Japanese dessert with matcha (green tea) being their focus. They have on their menu ice cream on a melon, which looked interesting but I didn't want to spend HKD180 for a snack. The choices all looked good and the actual item looks good too. I ordered this mix vanilla & green-tea ice cream with yuzi and redbean toppings at HKD$56. The taste, after trying Godiva and Tokyo secret, I wasn't that happy with the ice-cream. It was more to the icy side and not that smooth. But presentation and portion wise is excellent!!

What diet??! Summer is time to eat ice-cream! There were quite a few people lining up for ice-cream at Godiva at Langham, MK on saturday. So I decided to join them and enjoy a cone myself too. I picked this one that has a sign that says "limited" .. "limited" for what, I forgot. Sorry, haha! Anyway for some reason, I thought it was green tea icecream, but it was chocolate to the end! The only green tea was the cookie, the powder on top and crunchy greentea chocolate surrounding the edge of the cone. I must say the chocolate ice-cream was sooooo good! So creamy and so chocolatey! Furthermore, the whole cone was filled with icecream down to about an inch from tip. For HKD50.00. I was an extremely satisfied customer!!
Tokyo Secret has been popular amongst food blog posts. This place serves ice-cream and drinks. They have a concept of bringing 5star hotel dessert to the streets. As mentioned on the pamphlet, dessert is a kind of art! I came by myself so I only ordered 1 item. When it was my turn to order, the girl expressed that they only have mild green tea flavour today. They usually have strong or mild to choose from. I still went ahead and ordered this green tea ice cream parfait (mild flavour). This one costs HKD$32. Taste wise, the ice cream was creamy enough, and the green tea flavour wasn't bad at all. The ice cream is lighter (less dense) than Godiva's ice-cream but it is still nice and smooth. Check out their menu: www.tokyosecret.hk.
What's there better to do than go eat dessert on a hot summer night! My friend took me to Mrs Sweetie in Kowloon City and when I saw the portion I was super excited. If I remember correctly, my mango tapioca was about HKD26. The place was small and seating wasn't very comfy, but for the price and so much mangos, it was worth it!! Yummy!
Cookies are my all time favourite. However this is the first time I made Palmiers. Doesnt look too bad right? haha. Its actually not hard to make. Just takes some time and knowing how to roll the flour. Ill b making these again for sure!
Parties should have cakes! Heres a lovely Christmas cake from an online store. No actual shop to buy from, order online then pick up at a mtr stn! Anyway it's good to texture and taste! Happy birthday and merry christmas to our friends!!
Hidden in the mid levels~ this italian restaurant has the best tiramisu Ive ever had in HK! The texture is so light and the taste is rich enough but not overly sweet or bitter! A big recommend!!! Please note their pastas are also super yummy and risotto too!
Happy birthday to one of my besties! Another wonderful cake to share! I knew of Tony Wong Patisserie a few yrs back when they first came out with the amazing rose shaped cakes!! It was beautiful and delicous! It has been one of my all time favourites since then. This time I bought a strawberry napoleon cake and it was good as usual! I've had the napoleon cake from Mira's Coco before and the layers inside was all soggy, but this cake from Tony Wong was still crispy after 7hrs!! Super good!!
An Italian restaurant in Tst with cozy interior. Food was good and this tiramisu was pretty different from others Ive had. Im not sure if the chef did it on purpose or ... but the tiramisu's top and bottom creams were crispy becuase the dessert was frozen and served right away. Its something different... the taste is light which is quite refreshing as a dessert! It's definitely a nice place to have gatherings with frienda and family!
A yummy choice for a good friend! Celebrated a birthday w a green tea flavoured and beautifully decorated cake! Besides from cakes, there are many more delicious choices including pastries and bread at The Mandarin Cake Shop.
