What diet??! Summer is time to eat ice-cream! There were quite a few people lining up for ice-cream at Godiva at Langham, MK on saturday. So I decided to join them and enjoy a cone myself too. I picked this one that has a sign that says "limited" .. "limited" for what, I forgot. Sorry, haha! Anyway for some reason, I thought it was green tea icecream, but it was chocolate to the end! The only green tea was the cookie, the powder on top and crunchy greentea chocolate surrounding the edge of the cone. I must say the chocolate ice-cream was sooooo good! So creamy and so chocolatey! Furthermore, the whole cone was filled with icecream down to about an inch from tip. For HKD50.00. I was an extremely satisfied customer!!
Tokyo Secret has been popular amongst food blog posts. This place serves ice-cream and drinks. They have a concept of bringing 5star hotel dessert to the streets. As mentioned on the pamphlet, dessert is a kind of art! I came by myself so I only ordered 1 item. When it was my turn to order, the girl expressed that they only have mild green tea flavour today. They usually have strong or mild to choose from. I still went ahead and ordered this green tea ice cream parfait (mild flavour). This one costs HKD$32. Taste wise, the ice cream was creamy enough, and the green tea flavour wasn't bad at all. The ice cream is lighter (less dense) than Godiva's ice-cream but it is still nice and smooth. What's there better to do than go eat dessert on a hot summer night! My friend took me to Mrs Sweetie in Kowloon City and when I saw the portion I was super excited. If I remember correctly, my mango tapioca was about HKD26. The place was small and seating wasn't very comfy, but for the price and so much mangos, it was worth it!! Yummy!
