The pool on the 118th floor of ICC at Elements. I had booked an appointment at Espa and within my pkg, I was able to use the swimming pool an outdoor jacuzzi on the 118th flr (and the 24hr gym as well). Too bad it was such a cloudy day that I only had "white wallpaper" all around~ but the whole environment was very private and comfortable. I was able to take a nap beside the pool after a dip in the outdoor jacuzzi. The spa experience was good. The rooms and locker rooms were clean and beautifully decored. Service was good, the ladies there were all very polite and did their job well. The only downside was the actual body massage was to me not very professional. My masseuse left the room two times during my treatment. After the massage , I didnt feel that I had one. I would recommend this place if you want to feel relaxed and want to have an excellent view, but wouldnt recommend for peeps who wants good massage.

Mon Cher cakes are popular because of their Hello Kitty design cakes. Absolutely in love with the cute and lovely decor on the cake! It brought a big smile to my mom, =). However the cake itself tasted only so so. The cake was very dry and rough in texture. The cream was very good though. Anyway, the most important was it made my mom smile.
I love sift cupcakes. Walked by sift and saw these lovely mini cakes and couldnt resist to buy them. Comes in a set of 6, can't buy one by one. You can choose to buy the bigger version if you only wanna try one. How can I walk away without getting their deadly cupcakes! Hehe. Theres was a new flavour available, Sesame. Tried one but overly sweet for me. I'll stick with my fav lemon meringue.
I have always wanted to go to this cafe and eat this lovely tea set! Finally found time to go and headed to Elements location. Arrived at 3pm (that's when the afternoon tea sets are available), and waited about 30min in line before being seated. Wait time wise wasn't bad I'd say. Anyhow, so my sister and I ordered this afternoon tea set for 2 (approx HKD$496), and it comes w 2 drinks. I ordered a mocha and my sis ordered a pot of tea. The peony jasmine tea was served in a square (and heavy) pot but was quite elegant. The tea smelt very nice. The mocha was good too! Apparently is blue mountain coffee. Below are the items I think tasted better than the others. Cream cheese & smoked salmon. This is a pistachio scone (I think-hehe)! The scones are super delicious! This one has crunchy nuts or something in it too. This one looks a bit confusing, but this is VERY GoooD! Its actually raspberry or some berry gel covering fois gras pate! Haha, at least that is what my sister and I tasted! It was YUMMY! Chestnut puff. We ended our afernoon tea with macarons. The other sweets weren't as good as I liked them. There was a lemon log, a chocolate orange log, and some.. carrot cake? haha I didn't like those as much as the scones and salty items! But anyhow ite was a very enjoyable afternoon set! Happy!
Sat down at Cova in Ocean Centre one day because I had 2 hrs to waste before a dinner gathering. I ordered a lovely cake, Pisatchio Cream and a cup of mocha. The cake was very light and wasn't overly sweet, which is good, but it had no pistachio taste. The coffee was just as 'MEH'. It had no taste, so I felt like I was drinking water. Although Cova is popular, I wouldnt recommend having a stop here. Things look good but taste was quite disappointing.
Something different to do in Hong Kong this year!! A ferris wheel is set up just next to the central pier. Next to it is the AIA Carnival. Ferris wheel rides are HKD100/head but you will need to ride with other people. Or you can pay HKD500 to take up the whole cabin (more than 3 ppl is HKD800). Anyway it's a good 15min ride looking out to Kowloon side. I went on it and took a lot of selfies haha just like the other 3couples that were in the same cabin~ haha. I didn't have time for to go scroll through the carnival, maybe another time, but entrance is HKD125/head. Sounds a bit expensive but.. its something different!!!
A few days behind, was busy celebrating w family an friends! I made strawberry santas for Christmas dinner!! They are easy to make and such pretty little decors for your dinner table!! Always bring smiles!
Bricklane Gallery in Tsim Sha Tsui is a place I visit a lot. Whether for brunch, lunch or dinner, the food is quite good. I always enjoy their breakfast. Their fish and chips and burgers are very delicious as well. But I never go without a cup of their rose latte!!! It's sooooo good!!
Celebrating a friends birthday at this Japanese Restaurant, The Yuu. Six people ordered quite a bit of food, with a bottle of 1.8L of sake came to about 430/head. Reasonable pricing. Theres a whole bunch of foods ordered but I'll name few of what I liked most. The photo above is seafood salad. Greens topped w sashimi.
Located in Hung Hom plaza is this set menu Italian restaurant, Cafe Idea. A small place and need to call for reservations. I had to book one month ahead. The menu is set by the chef/owner, you just need to let them know how many people and what your preferences are. We started with this signature crab cake dish. Crabmeat, mango, cheesecake crust. Not bad.
